Diane C. Sperry, Ph.D., LLC

Dr. Sperry is a highly experienced psychologist, having served 20 years as an active-duty U.S. Air Force psychologist. She achieved the rank of Lieutenant Colonel before retiring in 2005 and moving to Johns Creek, Georgia. In the military she worked in a wide variety of stateside and overseas clinical settings, including outpatient clinics, inpatient units, and substance abuse programs. She has conducted numerous seminars on such topics as stress-management, assertiveness, healthy thinking, increasing self-esteem, and couples communication. She conducts psychotherapy with individuals, groups, and couples. She is especially well versed in the areas of depression, anxiety disorders, trauma, women's issues, grief and loss, late adolescent challenges, and military issues. Dr. Sperry received her B.S. from Vanderbilt University and her Ph.D. from the University of North Texas. She completed her internship at Wilford Hall Medical Center, Lackland Air Force Base, Texas in 1986. She holds licenses in the states of Georgia and Alabama. Dr. Sperry is a member of the Georgia Psychological Association and the American Psychological Association.
